Monkey Business

We finally installed our car seat last weekend. It’s amazing how quickly a car seat can take some of the cache out of a pretty cool car! After installing the base, it was time to figure out how to use the seat itself. Because we’re still waiting on Baby P. we got creative and used one of his stuffed animals. Twenty-five minutes later we were in business!

The Green Monster

Whether he likes it or not, Baby Peckham will be a born Cubs fan. However, given the Cubs lackluster post-season performance this year, we have decided to root for the Boston Red Sox. The little one had the pleasure of visiting our friend Jen in Boston this summer and taking in his first Sox game at Fenway. It's not Wrigley, but he (we) loved it!

Some Assembly Required

We've been busy getting ready for little Baby P. for weeks (months, actually). Even my Mom got in on the action last weekend when they were in town.

The latest installment: the bassinet. It's borrowed from a friend and quite the piece of furniture. Hopefully the little one likes it!

We're putting the final touches on the nursery this weekend and will post photos of the finished product then.

Getting Started

Now that we're just over two weeks away from our due date (Nov. 8), we thought we better get a blog up and running for those who are interested in the wild and woolly adventures of Baby Peckham (aka the WP). We'll try to post periodic photos and updates here, so feel free to check in if you're curious about what's up in Chicago.

Oh, and by the way, we have to give a shout out to Art and Angie. Their blog inspired us to create this one. Thanks guys.
